I have a 12' american shuffleboard and the original scoreboard from the 1930s to 1940s. The scoreboard did operate, never upgraded, it probably needs a new fuse. It worked last time we used it. If you want I can send pictures. I have owned for 40 years.

Hi, I was told by Ice that the NHL version only gives you a goal horn for the home team, but you mention goal horns for both him and away NHL teams? Just wanted to see if you could confirm this is possible since I really wanted goal horns for both teams, and Ice game said it wasn’t when I called them.

The one in my parents house has a 19 foot board. Took a flat tractor trailer, 5 guys, and some bucks to move it from Baltimore to York County Pa in the 70s. I believe the board was from the 50s.

I also have an original American Shuffleboard, and the coin operated scoreboard with lights. I'm selling it out of my parents house. Some guy offered me $300 for the board, table and scoreboard, which is an insult. I told him the scoreboard is worth that (not many people kept them) and as an interior designer I could get more by cutting the board up and using it as countertop (which could still happen, but it would leave the scoreboard orphaned and for sale)..

The control unit is normally located in the middle leg. It includes 3 stepper solenoids and the coin receiving mechanism plus a momentary electrical switch. The coin stepper unit counts up to 4 coins and adjusts the total points allowed. (15 21, and 51). The other two steppers advance the points counted as manual buttons (outside on each end) are pressed. There is a game over interlock solenoid with various electrical contacts.
The problems are primarily sluggishness on all of the stepper switches. The upside is all contacts are lower stepped down voltage so as not to pose any sparks or shocks.
